Recognition That Reflects Our Mission

Recently, Park was recognized nationally and statewide for work in three core areas that define who we are as a mission-driven organization: leadership, marketing, and community. These honors highlight programs, outcomes, and stories that demonstrate our mission of people helping people in action.

Leadership with Purpose

Jana Erny, our President & CEO was named to the CU Times Luminaries Class of 2025 in Executive Leadership and was also named to Louisville Business First 2025, Most Admired CEO list.  Through these recognitions, Jana joins a national and local cohort of leaders shaping the future of credit unions and community leadership. Her recognition reflects a leadership style that is both strategic and deeply people-centered.

At Park, leadership is a collective strength. Jana’s approach is supported and showcased by the many leaders across our organization who carry Park’s mission into every department and community interaction. Together, they ensure that strategy and values remain inseparable.

Marketing that Connects Through Curiosity

Park was recognized nationally for Marketing Excellence with the CU Times Luminaries Class of 2025. This honor highlights how our Catch the Vibe KY campaign reimagined financial marketing through a fresh, curiosity-driven approach.

Rather than leading with products or promotions, Catch the Vibe KY leaned into lifestyle, culture, and community. It carried a light-hearted, approachable tone that invited people to see banking in a fresh new way. By focusing on values and storytelling instead of rates and features, the campaign sparked curiosity and helped redefine what a relationship with a financial institution can represent.

The marketing shift mattered most for people who have historically felt unseen, unheard, or misunderstood by traditional financial offerings. Catch the Vibe KY opened the door for stronger connections with underserved and underbanked communities, positioning Park as a partner that understands their realities and expands access to financial opportunity.

Community at the Core

Community commitment is where Park’s mission is most visible. This year, Park was recognized with the CU Times Luminaries Class of 2025 in Community Impact and received the Kentucky Credit Union League Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Award, and the Desjardins Adult Financial Education Award. Initiatives noted reflect how Park shows up with measurable results:

  • Parksgiving: Staff and members came together to provide more than 155 families with full Thanksgiving meals.
  • Cars to Work: In partnership with Goodwill, Park financed over 1.1 million in loans for 119 borrowers in 2024; over the past decade, the program has loaned more than 4 million for 500+ borrowers.  Each loan paired vehicle access with coaching and savings support.
  • Goodwill Opportunity Campus: Park operates as the financial empowerment hub on a 125,000-square-foot campus in West Louisville alongside healthcare, housing, and workforce partners. Staff have delivered more than 845 hours (and counting) of financial education in 2025, nearly tripling the prior year’s total.
  • HERO Certification: As of September 2025, 100 percent of staff are HERO-certified financial counselors, ensuring every branch visit, phone call, or community interaction comes with both compassion and expertise.
  • Volunteer Engagement: Employees logged more than 1,190 hours of service by mid-2025, supporting over 35 nonprofit partners and all 11 Pathways to Prosperity grantees.

At Park, achievements are measured by the differences our members experience and the opportunities created through our people, products, and presence. What matters most is how these efforts touch the communities we call home, especially the neighborhoods that need us most.
