Park Community Credit Union - Here Are the 7 Best Cars to Buy Now, According to U.S. News & World Report

When car sales drop, great deals become available. However, some models offer greater opportunities than others do. This is why a new report from U.S. News & World Report is so interesting.

The magazine tracked vehicle deals and sales figures for certain models. They tallied up the results and produced a report on the “7 Best Cars to Buy Now.”

For instance, the Mazda3 has suffered a 19.1% sales decline, year-over-year. This has led to average negotiated discounts of 10%, and manufacturer incentives including 0% financing for five years.

The Lexus ES has suffered a huge YOY sales decline of 62.8%. You can bet that dealers want to move them off of lots today.

Other cars on the list include the Cadillac ATS (sales down 24% YOY), the Chevrolet Impala (down 35%), the Nissan Murano (down 18.3%), the Acura RDX (down 18.3%) and the Honda Odyssey (down 30.85%).

Keep in mind that while sales are down for these cars, they’re still good cars. Competition is fierce in the new car market these days, leading to sales declines for all sorts of vehicles. Car sales are also dropping as sales of SUVs and trucks increase. All of this can really be of benefit to sharp consumers.
