The Park Pulse – October 2025
We’ve got plenty to celebrate at Park! From national awards and HERO certification for every employee, to welcoming Parkie Panda and launching new tools like Thryve Checking and Park Perks, this issue is full of milestones and updates that reflect our mission in action.

A Message from Jana Erny, Park President/CEO
As the seasons shift and autumn settles in, I cannot help but reflect on the rhythm of change. Fall reminds us that transformation is both natural and necessary. At Park, this year has been a powerful season of our own transformation, honoring sixty years of service while laying a solid foundation for the next sixty.

Recognition That Reflects Our Mission
Recently, Park was recognized nationally and statewide for work in three core areas that define who we are as a mission-driven organization: leadership, marketing, and community. These honors highlight programs, outcomes, and stories that demonstrate our mission of people helping people in action.

HERO Certified to Help You Navigate the Now, Next, and New
At Park, financial guidance has always been more than a service. It is part of who we are. We believe banking should focus on people, not just products. That is why, for years, our members have had access to financial consultation through trusted one-on-one conversations.

Parkie Panda Joins the Party
Park staff came together to celebrate two milestones: being named a Best Place to Work in KY and officially welcoming our new mascot, Parkie Panda. The day highlighted what makes Park special, blending recognition of our people with the joy of adding a fresh, playful personality to our story.

Trunks, Treats, and Community Fun: Park’s Trunk or Treat
On Sunday, October 26, Park invites you to join us for our annual Trunk or Treat, a safe and festive afternoon filled with seasonal fun.

Parksgiving Returns: Growing a Tradition of Giving
Last year, Park launched Parksgiving to help local families celebrate Thanksgiving with a warm meal. Thanks to the generosity of our team and members, donations filled the branches and meal kits were prepared and delivered across Louisville, the Bluegrass, and Southern Indiana.

Park Commits to Being a Cybersecurity Champion
October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month, a time dedicated to teaching people simple ways to protect themselves online. To assist in this effort, Park Community is proud to share guidance and resources to help you and your family stay safe.

Park Foundation: Features, Funding, and Friendsgiving
The Park Community Credit Union Foundation has had a season filled with meaningful recognition, community support, and exciting plans for the months ahead.

Introducing Thryve Checking and Park Perks
A checking account should be simple, useful, and built to fit your life. That’s why Park created Thryve Checking, a fresh take on everyday banking that helps you save automatically, access your money sooner, and enjoy a few extra benefits along the way.

What Is a Money Market Account? A Way to Earn More Effortlessly
Savers value two things: competitive rates and flexibility to access funds. A money market account offers both. At Park Community, you can open a money market with as little as $1,000. Maintain that balance to avoid the $10 monthly fee and enjoy dividends that grow your savings month after month.
