This year’s Employee Appreciation event was a celebration of the people who bring that mission to life every day. It was a chance to pause, connect, and recognize the dedication, service, heart, and vibe that make the Park team special.
Honoring Milestones and Meaningful Service
A highlight of the day was recognizing 39 team members for milestone anniversaries and retirements. Combined, the years of service celebrated totaled more than 360 years. These milestones reflect years of commitment, relationships built, and service to our members and communities.
We also recognized the 2025–2026 Culture Committee members for their dedication to strengthening connection, engagement, and belonging across Park, while welcoming a new group of team members who will continue that work. Two outgoing committee members were honored with Founding Member trophies in recognition of their lasting contributions.
The celebration continued as Park recognized its 2025 V.I.B.E. Check winners, inviting recipients to stand as their names were announced in recognition of the positive energy and encouragement they bring to the workplace every day.
One of the most meaningful recognitions of the day was Dee Bass, who was named Volunteer of the Year after contributing more than 500 hours of volunteer service in 2025. Dee received a standing ovation from fellow employees as she accepted the award, reflecting the impact her service has had both inside and outside of Park.
As a community-focused financial institution, Park encourages and supports team members in giving back to the organizations and causes that strengthen our communities. Dee’s commitment is a powerful example of how Park team members bring our mission to life every day.
“Thank you for investing your time, talent, and treasure back into our communities, our members, and to each other,” said CEO Jana Erny to the Park team.
A Day of Connection and Celebration
The event brought together employees from across the organization for a day filled with food, music, and activities designed to celebrate connection and community.
Team members enjoyed pizza and dessert food trucks, outdoor games, and time spent together outside of their day-to-day roles. The evening DJ kept the energy high and, fittingly, just happened to be a Park member.
“Park has always felt more like a community than a financial institution,” said DJ Nyce. “The personal relationships and genuine care make all the difference.”
That sense of community was reflected not only through the day’s activities, but also in the many people who helped make the event possible. Twelve employees were recognized with “You O’FISH’ally Brought the V.I.B.E. to Our Employee Appreciation Event” trophies for the ideas they contributed to the planning process.
Moments like these are reminders of the relationships that make our culture strong.
As Vince Doty from Accounts Payable shared, “Today definitely brought the vibe!”
Giving Back Together
Employee Appreciation also reflected Park’s commitment to serving the community. During the event, employees assembled hygiene kits for Up & Up, an organization that supports women and children experiencing homelessness in Louisville.
The volunteer activity gave team members another opportunity to make a difference together while reinforcing the spirit of service that extends beyond the workplace. It’s a reminder that at Park, giving back isn’t limited to volunteer days — it’s a part of who we are.
Why It Matters
Employee Appreciation is about more than one day of celebration. It’s a reminder that the people behind Park are what make our mission possible.
Before the event, teams were asked to design a flag representing their branch or department, and those flags were displayed throughout the space. The creativity and symbolism truly stood out. What started as a fun pre-event activity became a meaningful reflection of our culture and shared commitment to the communities we serve.
We’re grateful for our team and proud of the work they do every day to help Park live its mission of empowering communities, fueling dreams, and cultivating belonging.
