On Give for Good Louisville, September 10, 2026, the Park Community Credit Union Foundation is inviting our members and community to help create more of those possibilities right here at home.
The mission of our Foundation is to build a more vibrant community where everyone has equitable access to learn, grow, and thrive. We believe that talent, potential, and dreams exist in every community, but opportunities are not always accessible.
That’s why the Foundation invests in programs that help remove barriers and create pathways to success for individuals and families throughout Kentucky and Southern Indiana.
When opportunity reaches a family
The impact of that work can be seen through organizations like ChooseWell Communities, one of the nonprofits supported by the Foundation’s Pathways to Prosperity grants.
ChooseWell supports families with young children as parents build lives in recovery.
Dewey came to ChooseWell Communities as a new mom looking for housing, support, and a community as she built her life in recovery. At the same time, she was living in transitional sober housing and far from family, raising her infant son Parker.
“ChooseWell helped me find stability for my family,” Dewey shared. “To have people believe in me and my future, makes me wake up in the morning and have hope.”
For families like Dewey’s, that stability can take many forms — finding housing, furnishing an apartment, receiving assistance with everyday needs and unexpected expenses, and, perhaps most importantly, building a supportive community around a parent and child.
Support from the Park Community Foundation helped ChooseWell provide resources like these to families as they work toward a brighter future.
More than $2.1 million invested in our communities
Since 2019, generous supporters have helped the Park Community Foundation invest more than $2.1 million in community initiatives through grants, scholarships, and nonprofit partners.
Last year, the Foundation’s Pathways to Prosperity grants supported 10 nonprofit organizations working to strengthen the communities we call home.
